Can we give you a playlist? 🎧
Yes! We will send you a planning questionnaire where you can provide all the details for specific moments and music for the day. This is your wedding, and your dance floor.
Do you take requests? 💭
If the request comes from you (the Bride or Groom), then definitely! If the request comes from a guest, then we will first ensure it fits the vibe and the group on the dance floor. We want to ensure your guests are having a good time, and this means selecting the best tracks to play.
What genres do you play? 🔊
We are open format DJs meaning we play a variety of genres for a diverse crowd, using creative transitions to keep the dance floor engaged. Our go to playlists revolve around classics, pop hits, golden oldies, dance, house, hip hop, rock, and of course some sokkie treffers thrown in there. We will of course take your tastes and preferences into account, and curate the music for your day accordingly.
Will you travel for our wedding? 🗺️
We serve venues in and around Gauteng, but are open to travelling further. Let us know where your wedding is and we will let you know if we can make it work! Just note that accommodation may be required, and additional travel will be charged for.
How far in advance should we book? 🗓️
Most couples book 6–18 months in advance. Peak dates fill quickly, so book us ahead of time to avoid any disappointment. However feel free to reach out for last minute bookings, if we are available we would love to assist!
How do we book you? ✅
Fill in the form below or contact us to check our availability and request a formal quotation. If you are happy to proceed with booking us to DJ your wedding, we can secure your date with a 50% deposit. The remaining amount will be due 14 days prior to your wedding day.
Can we have a coffee? ☕
Not ready to commit? No problem - we understand that you need to make sure we are a good fit for your special day, so let's meet up and discuss your plans and vision. This can also be an online call.
What if the power goes out? ⚡
We strongly suggest ensuring the venue is equipped with backup power. However if that is not the case, we can assist in quoting on backup power if needed. We unfortunately cannot guarantee the continuation of services where venue power fails and no backup power has been arranged.
Can we move our dates? 😅
We will allow you to move your booked date subject to availability up to 30 days before the booked date with no penalty. If it’s within the 7-30 days, 30% of the service fee will be charged additionally. If less than 7 days, an additional 50% of the service fee will be charged. If Capital Productions is unavailable for the rescheduled date, then our cancellation terms will apply.
